Apple work UAE

Today we wanted to discuss the landscape of Apple setups in the UAE that provide work for consumers. Whether that's a large base of customers, or specific clientele from individuals or corporate companies. This covers the sector of the Apple solutions and how Consult Mac differs from the ones mentioned.

Since our inception in late 2010, Consult Mac has now become a prominent place, from the not exemplified idea of where to go for Apple support, to a reputable placement for purchase consultation, diagnostics and training for people wanting bespoke work to the highest levels. We try and continue to reach some of the client centric goals and keep in touch with our clientele on a regular basis.

Going back to where it all began, like the sandy desert of Dubai where nothing was well known, it seemed the Apple support area was only available at large retail locations. This would mainly be the prestigious Emaar Dubai Mall, or the existing Majid Al Futtaim establishments or Nakheel's Ibn Battuta.

From the current range of Apple Authorised Resellers, to the existing Apple Premium reseller iStyle, with the former's aim of providing focal solutions to existing and new customers, that differentiate from other resellers, whereas iStyle trying further to provide more cohesive solutions with it's Apple enthused  stores. The gap between resellers and premium resellers is evident, mainly in terms of design at first, however also in terms of service, with the latter being more focused on Apple. Where the medium since iStyle's first range of stores in the region to now employ a level of consumer satisfaction which does not substantially differentiate itself much from existing resellers, as consumers still have plenty of choice of where to buy. And in an area where malls are well known for hospitality and approachable staff, with the Mall of Emirates also being a highly productive mall statistically for the UAE, the brand Apple represents but creates opportunity for a more bespoke platform to meet the needs of the discerning client who require more time on the Apple solutions.

The existing staff in resellers are provided by the Apple distributor, to provide Apple solutions with accessories that complement the purchaser. With an Apple Premium Reseller, a sale is maximised from third party products along with an easy check in and purchase process. The focal components which have not been established, is to truly differentiate not from the design, but from the level of service.

With the general level of service provided from existing resellers based on Apple training from Apple Inc, this seems fine for the average purchaser looking for an iPod. Whereas Apple may introduce new mechanisms to employ characteristics that mimic end user training, the training deliverables themselves are not up to par with the most diligent facets that transfer suitably from trainer to trainee. This is known from Consult Mac by asking the retail staff at the reseller stores on base level technical questions, or training schematics on Apple solutions, to which as research was undertaken by Consult Mac at many authorised resellers, the information would not be presented well. This is not satisfactory as customers want to know the best Apple solution.

This creates the lag which consumer's easily replace once visiting the high level of information at their local Apple stores. Apple Premium Resellers are slightly more eloquent in responses, but with similar answers. Due to iStyle's prestige as being the first Apple Premium Reseller in the region with several stores, this creates a local feel. Yet the identified notion of existing customers and their feedback showcases the opportunity which has arisen for a more refined setup for understanding Apple solutions.

The E-Commerce portfolio of companies in the UAE have started to show promise with the GCC being a frontier for consumer transactions. Dubai is not well known for online purchasing, recent studies have shown this as a new market. Existing companies such as AlShop that sell digital products including Apple solutions, to Emirates Avenue and the more newly founded JadoPado, these three consumer centric sites compete for shopper demand. Although e-commerce is not focally setup towards Apple itself apart from the UAE Apple store, the purchasing to direct consumer and through brand advertising is if not the same, but more vast online. With new browsers and real time updates, users can be informed more specifically about their purchases.

AlShop, Emirates Avenue and JadoPado are very similar placements of purchase. With e-commerce companies leveraging opportunities through purchasing mechanisms, to delivery setup, time of delivery and consumer order processing, with a systematic process identified and the refinement of existing process' consumer expectations can be met more repeatedly smoothly. JadoPado, has implemented design aesthetics, that introduce itself that differs from other e-commerce companies that are more user friendly, engaging and consumer centric. This all helps the Apple purchasing mode within the UAE.

Although, companies such as PayPal and direct avenues of payment processing could lead to a change in the companies that merge their existing payment setups with the newly formed payment processing directly to bank accounts without an intermediary. PayPal currently has a setup to implement transactions for revenue purposes to a bank account. This can work for UAE bank accounts. Companies such as Cybersource, which are reknown for their setup allow direct payment solutions with e-commerce which could assist in changing the landscape in how, people purchase items. This is if all payment solutions meet in the aspect of allocating payment to a merchant and so they can receive in a bank account without unnecessary fees.

Whereas the contributors to Apple products being sold in the UAE entail selling online and in physical stores, the after support is another question.

After support in the UAE is not as common as it is like an Apple store. Apple has over 300+ retail stores around the world.

Apple retail stores employ an idea, the implementation of the Apple brand. This is completed through consumer interactions with consumers of local and international origin on a scale that meets the criteria to understand consumers on a personal level, purchasing patterns. To high end Apple solutions, with immediate Apple information and a face to face unparalleled level of service, to one to one training.

There are now many examples of Apple resellers in the UAE. They represent Apple to the extent of mentioning Apple experts in their respective fields. To which they are. However that's where it stops.

Although we recognise the foundation they provide. The resellers and premium resellers set a foundation for what consumers should have. They provide the necessary facilitation of solutions. And many customers are happy with the level of service provided. However when someone wants a more refined level, the people that understand the core of Apple itself, we help to reach that extra level.

It's because now consumers have more choice. However it doesn't matter how many stores open or what kind of companies operate, the background of Consult Mac can not be copied to implement the vast detailed and creative solutions that are helping to shape the existing and expanding client base only from Consult Mac.

The Asia Pacific market is a huge opportunity for Apple Inc. The recently Authorised Jacky's, to the new developed ABMCare, with the new premium reseller, along with other companies showcase the expanding horizon of what purchasing patterns and trends may follow.

News websites, to people discussing about Apple in the Middle East, does not change our views on how we see the Apple brand is working with the Middle East. We worked closely with Apple, we've talked to Apple staff, we've worked with the Apple distributor. Yet we don't advertise. This is not our approach. We are a bespoke setup, we are not mass amalgamated. Our core principles understand the brand due to working with Apple Inc, however Consult Mac takes it's own approach and does not discuss with news on Apple market or identified trends, we focus on providing the best purchase solutions for the consumer in the UAE.

We are not against the idea of bulk selling, the FMCG market in the UAE is usually in the limelight. Whereas we see this as one part of a process, the other is the post purchase. Which is the main factor. Anyone who is selling an Apple product can sell an Apple product. Not everyone can provide post purchase solutions. Dubai is a world class city. The level of enthusiasm and distinction it provides should match the level of work being completed.
