Hi Mac users,

do you wonder what an Apple store in Dubai, would possibly look like?

Majority of the people, that reside in Dubai, are expats. People from different nationalities and so forth.

1. Provide support on current training modules through FAQ's, e-mail and telephone support.
2. Offer training modules in Mac OS,  iTunes, iWeb, iPhoto, Pages, Numbers,  Keynote, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, MobileMe
3. Unlock your potential in file management, allocation, productivity, setting up a home network with Apple devices, editing photos with a plethora of options and much more..
3. *Unlimited modules of training provided in a month.

Fee: 799 Dirhams per month, average 1600 Dirhams ( saving of 801 )

*If service is taken up based on common four programs for training. i.e. Mac OS, iTunes, iWeb and MobileMe for personal/ business.  Or four business solutions. Average cost of service 400 Dirhams per session.

* Option 3: Diagnostic and training ( most popular )

Warranty services and training solution complete package.

1. Provide software and hardware support for In warranty products for three years from date of purchase.
2. Provide software and hardware support for out of warranty based products. This includes price of fixture also covered for units.
3. Support offered for unlimited amount of products.
4. Support offered within the hour, telephone and e-mail.
5. Provide support on current training modules through FAQ's, e-mail and telephone support.
6. Offer training modules in Mac OS,  iTunes, iWeb, iPhoto, Pages, Numbers,  Keynote, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, MobileMe

9.* Overall huge cost saving. Minimum: Over 3601 Dirhams.

Fee: 950 Dirhams per month, average 3601 Dirhams ( saving of 2651 )

*If service is taken up based on four packages for training. i.e. Mac OS, iTunes, iWeb and MobileMe for personal/ business. Average cost of service 400 Dirhams per session.
 Inclusive of diagnostic services for each Apple product on average extension of warranty is 700 Dirhams. This does not include accidental damage which we also cover hence more saving applied.
  Based on four Apple products diagnostic equates to 2800 Dirhams. 2800 + 801 ( training saving ) = 3601 Dirhams.

Android and iPhone

Hello people,

as some of you may recollect we made a post on Apple and Google. Well today we are going to be talking about the state of the Android and iPhone..

Some great products these companies make, that even Steve Wozniak wants his old job back at Apple.. However he thinks he can make a valid contribution to the company now. He is probably right, as the Apple market now manages segmented business'

Take Google, they evidently have much attention being given to their Android services. Andy Rubin, mentioning recently how Honeycomb won't be completely closed, Android's philosophy has worked due to allowing developers to jump on board and write according to their wishes so simply. Even with the App store guidelines being more relaxed.. A recent review showcases how one user adores his iPhone but actually also likes an Android quite some much.

The fondness of the HTML5 products and rich experiences in these user friendly portable devices allows a greater competition between the two. Android now is taking the approach to have the market yield towards it's services; where the plato of products that Google offers becomes more prominent and solidified for someone to know what Android is. The alternative, as good as, if not better than, the iPhone.

However is it? iPhone makes more revenue than many phones, it literally downscaled the margin in an unheard of business acumen with Nokia that Nokia, decided to re strategize with.. Windows.

On that note, Gartner had to revise it's predictions as we know, to now say that Windows Mobiles will topple Apple eventually.

I wonder if they may have to revise again, probably so because Apple products are on the side, with Google share growing exponentially giving the diversification of the products.

There really is only room for two, a high margin product with a mass market product. RIM will have to make some seriously defining products to stand out from the crowd, unless another open source project comes along and defines a social networking platform like Facebook.

Something that captures the user's attention is what Apple is about, whereas Google is about offering the ' secondary option if Apple is not what you want '.

So what's it going to be? Motorla Zoom, or iPad?

Training CompuME

So we've been quite occupied training CompuMe. For those of you who do not know,

CompuMe operates a host of electronic services targeted to the Middle East. They have a store in MOE which is 10,000 sq.ft. It's worth checking out as the products are well displayed.

They have a small Apple section. And our job was to facilitate the staff at CompuMe, by elevating their stature in the retail presence.

We all know very well that the retail consumer section in Apple, even with the inclusion of Virgin or the newly appointed sections in Jumbo, are not working very well as staff cannot answer many questions, but also cannot comprehend ways to create new solutions or inform customers more about what the Mac is really about.

Hence we employed this philosophy with two methods of training, one general and the other more advanced onto CompuMe's staff.

The results have been beneficial to see so far. Although we are training the staff to ascertain customer needs more, focus on body language and sociology, our main component is the actual training itself to engage customer by providing more detailed and correct answers.

Most staff in most stores that sell Apple products cannot troubleshoot to save their jobs, but they can try.

We have officially changed the prospect of CompuMe. So far we've seen more thorough answers, more detailed outlook in providing customers the solutions they need. The idea was to help benefit CompuMe so in return they have repeat customers.

The Apple market here wishes to be changed; and this is exactly what we do..
