So Mac just had the best quarter results ever. Retail went up. However what was interesting, was 80 + stores that were not in the US are making more of an impact sales wise.
This means the traffic must be substantial. With reference to the results, it was China that was overlooking a region of Apple enthused customers. Apple plans to really look into this market.
Mac sales however, were actually down this quarter, even though 6 more stores opened with an average 321 compared to 301 to last quarter. Average store revenues although were higher this quarter.
The retail segment in Apple retail is growing, not at a rapid rate though compared to the overall company.
I look forward to Ron Johnson overseeing what aspects of retail work, what doesn't during this coming quarter.
So far, they plan to implement a new setup program for anyone who buys a Mac. More business focused incentives also.
It's a step in the right direction for what i say.. Fantastic.
